Arts and Health Foundation Award
‘Seed Chemistry', the artwork I created for the Robina Hospital courtyard, has just contributed towards Robina Hospital and the Department of Public Works winning the 2011 Australian Business Foundation Award (Abaf) in the category of ‘Arts and Health Foundation Award', for Queensland.
This award was given to the Department of Public Works, Queensland andRobina Hospital, Queensland Health for a partnership between a healthcare organisation and a business, and arts that contribute towards improving the health and wellbeing of people who use the facility.
Crown Casino Commission
Crown Casino, Melbourne
Based on botanical motifs, these relief sculptures were created to complement the garden theme within the area it is situated.
The radial designs were hand-formed and woven from copper wire and rod and wall-mounted on backing plates. Measuring just under 2m each in diameter, these three sculptures retain their natural copper colour and a delicate feeling of lightness.More images can be seen on my 'Public Art' page.

Queensland Multicultural Centre
Kangaroo Point, Queensland
'New Beginnings' has now been installed in the new Queensland Multicultural Centre at Kangaroo Point. This collection of seeds disperse up through the 3-story foyer of the building to depict migration and the optimism of new lives and beginnings.

Robina Hospital Commission
'Seed Chemistry' has been installed in the new linear courtyard of the Robina Hospital on the Gold Coast. These five sculptures are based on the seeds of certain plants used in modern pharmaceuticals.
